I struggle with my skin barrier especially in the summer because I work outside and sweat a lot, plus I get contact dermatitis and hives easily from certain types of trees and dust and various other shit I can't figure out which wrecks my skin and always seems to occur on my face. It makes my skin feel so plump and hydrated. Within days I noticed a huge improvement, my skin was so soft and the texture had smoothed out a lot. I decided to pick this up on a whim and I'm so glad I did because it was the missing piece to my skincare routine. I have combo/oily skin that is incredibly sensitive. I love this moisturizer! I swear by it and recommend it often in this sub and out in the world. But it has niacinamide in it, and the last time I used a niacinamide product (Inkey list niacinamide serum) I broke out really badly, although that also could have been due to going of benzoyl peroxide at that same time.Īnyways, has anyone had either a good or bad experience with this moisturizer they can share? Or experiences with niacinamide in one thing vs in another having different effects on your skin? Thank you! I ended up picking up the CeraVe PM moisturizer for normal to oily skin at Walmart tonight, mostly on a whim and because it said it was good for oily skin and I feel like I hear good things about cerave. Ives Collagen and Elastin moisturizer for the past bit, simply because I happened to have it lying around, but I’m not convinced it’s the best for my skin and the fact it has fragrance makes me nervous, although I have no proof it’s actually contributing to my breakouts. The routine I have right now seems to be slowly helping (knock on wood) but I’ve been struggling to find a good night time moisturizer (the one I use in the morning has spf in it). I have oily, acne prone skin, and have spent the past few months trying to find a new routine that works for me after messing with my old (decently effective but not as much as I wanted) routine and breaking out really badly.
